I am a bit 'late this time, but better late than never! This month we are still a monochrome landscape but using the technique of glazing in nuances.
What should ?
matita HB, quaderno per da disegni, tavolette per mettere la carta, scotch.
Carta 100% cotone (23cm x19cm), Colore: blu ultramarino
Pennello piatto (medio)e rotondo (piccolo)
2. Prepariamo una soluzione di acqua e blu utramarino per have enough to do the whole project. On paper, this time, instead of starting with the color blue, we clean water with the flat brush to make the sky. Note the design is upside down because the sky is increasingly clear of the horizon line.
3. Then, instead of water, put the dye with a brush with the glaze technique (now know well!) To give effect to the sky a bit 'dramatic. I do so to make the sky and also to make the ground.
4. Expect throughout the canopy dries. You see, the sky is a bit dramatic. Add the glaze color on the houses in uniform.
5. When it dried, I put a new canopy over part only of the houses.
6.Voglio dramatize even more sky. What do I do? I take it with clean water at the base of the sky and end up with a brush stroke at the end of a very dark glaze. Another glazing on the facades of the houses (or all)
7. Add more glaze, always with the same blue deepen different parts of the landscape, especially the front of the house nearest the street. And I do some touch with the brush to make other small details such as doors and windows and the street and the grass in the foreground. I remove the tape.
8. Finished. You can 'start again until you get a landscape like that. You can always do with other colors in monochrome. This exercise is great for understanding the degree of a color. Have fun and ... the next one!
